Pretty interesting little read if nothing else. For those not wanting to thumb through eight pages of graphs, stats, and individual State information I have included the nine deadly driving behaviors below:
This publication pops into my work inbox every now and then and I thought I would share this article with the general Oppo populace considering its relevance to our community.

Keep safe, Oppo!

A recent one near my house.

Overcorrecting... Yeah. I can see that.

Not surprised one bit by Florida’s causes. It’s a free-for-all on I 95.

Wut? Unless it means crossing the double yellow, but I’d think that would be failure to keep in proper lane.

Drunk? Passing horse & buggy by driving into oncoming traffic? I am puzzled as well.

I live in FL, and I agree with this. 2nd on the list. Riding a motorcycle.

Driving on the wrong side of the road...

I guess it’s the way the police categorize it? Unless “failure to keep in proper lane” means something different than I thought. There’s probably a bit of overlap in the categories.

People get onto the highways and interstates going the wrong way often at night around Philly. Most highways are unlit and have tall divider medians without cut throughs so the old people and drunkies don’t even notice they are on the wrong side.
A cop tolkd ne to always stay right at night. That way any drunk coming the wrong way in what they think is the right lane might miss you.

Distracted driving category maybe?
I'm pretty sure lots of people die because of idiots texting and driving or drinking and driving

I have to agree with you, but the problem is that it is pretty rare that we (insurance adjusters) can confirm if someone was texting or using an electronic device while driving in most crashes. The data used in this particular study is from 2013 and earlier, which may be why nothing was included about electronics. I (unfortunately) have no doubt I will post something in the future about distracted driving.

So the picture of that yellow f150 in the linked article was taken a quarter of a mile from my office. I remember when that happened, pretty crazy to see a truck upside down on top of another car like that.

I haven’t driven in Pittsburgh proper for more than 17 years (thank g-d) but I do remember a terrible wreck when a car drove the wrong way down the HOV lane and bunch of people were killed. But that can’t still be skewing the statistics ...

I hear about it every couple of years, but there are a lot of fatalities between “wrong way” accidents (or at least what my interpretation of what a wrong way accident is).

Gotcha...
I hate it when I'm driving and pass someone who is totally absorbed in their phone. Really pisses me off...

There are many considerable drunkards around the country if they are all not able to “stay in the proper lane”. Its not even comparable.
